Ganduje’s Son Abdulaziz Joins NDC, Vies For House Of Reps Seat

Abdulaziz Ganduje, son of Abdullahi Ganduje, former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
Ganduje, a member of the Kwankwasiyya movement, a support group of Musa Rabiu Kwankwanso, the former governor of Kano, subsequently obtained the NDC nomination form to contest the Dawakin Tofa/Tofa/Rimin Gado federal constituency seat.

‎In a viral video, the son of the former Kano state governor is seen introducing himself to Kwankwaso and stating his intention to run for the house of representatives seat.

The seat is currently held by Tijjani Jobe, a member of the APC.

Jobe was elected to the green chamber on the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) but defected to the APC in January.
