Al Nassr also won their 10th league title in the club’s history, and first in seven years since their last win in 2019.
The Real Madrid and Manchester United legend is the first player to win league titles in the top leagues of four different countries, adding to previous titles in Italy, Spain, and England.
Al Nassr dominated the match and scored once in each half through Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman respectively. Mane’s 35th-minute header from Joao Felix’s corner kick put the hosts ahead, and Coman sealed the win and title with a low shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the area early in the second half.

Despite the visitors scoring a consolation from the penalty spot that threatened the title charge, Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up with his brace- the first a free kick, then a shot at the near post from four yards into the roof of the net- to ensure Al Nassr seal a dominant win that sparked celebrations in the stands.
The latest title is Ronaldo’s eighth domestic league trophy in his career, and his first since 2020, ending a six-year wait.

ADC Welcomes Court Judgment On INEC Regulation
ADC Welcomes Court Judgment On INEC Regulation
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has welcomed the ruling of a Federal High Court in Abuja on the deadline for party primaries, among others.
In a statement released in Abuja on Thursday evening, signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said it views the ruling as vindication of its vehement objections to key aspects of the electoral body’s guidelines at the time they were issued.

The ADC also recalled its specific objections to the strict timelines on membership registration, as well as the conduct of party primaries.
“The decision of the Court on these issues, including those that directly contradict the Constitution, is therefore a welcome vindication of our position,” the party said.
The party also said the ruling, which removes the impediment placed by the guidelines on politicians who wish to seek alternative platforms to contest elections, was a positive development that promotes freedom of association.

ADC
“We believed at the time that that particular restriction was designed to prevent people from leaving the ruling party, APC. Now that the court has ruled against it, we are sure that, in the coming days, we will witness a mass exodus from the ruling party.”
