How Ganduje inherited N8.9bn debt as APC chairman. The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has revealed that he inherited a ₦8.9 billion debt from his predecessor upon assuming office.

Speaking at the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, Ganduje explained that the debt stemmed from pre-election legal battles, election petitions, and appeals related to legislative, governorship, and presidential elections.
